Our Story
Why the Foundation Exists
Talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not. Everstead Education Foundation was established to close that gap — to make sure that a student's access to excellent education, formative experiences, and future-shaping exposure is never determined by financial circumstance alone.
The Foundation grew out of the broader Everstead vision: that middle school is the moment when trajectory is set, and that students who are known, challenged, and exposed to what's possible carry that confidence into everything that follows. While Everstead Academy delivers the educational experience, the Foundation was created as a separate organization to build the philanthropic and community infrastructure around it — scholarships, enrichment, partnerships, and resources.
We are at the beginning of this work, and we are building it deliberately: with independent governance, disciplined stewardship, and a long-term view of impact.

The Relationship
Our Relationship With Everstead Academy
Everstead Academy is the school — a modern online private middle school serving grades 6–8. Everstead Education Foundation is the philanthropic and community-impact arm — mobilizing resources, partnerships, and support that expand access and opportunity.
The two organizations are affiliated in mission and share a common founder, but they are separate organizations with independent governance, finances, programs, and responsibilities. That separation is deliberate: it ensures the Foundation's resources are stewarded transparently and directed toward its own charitable purposes.
